sharing AntiVirus software reviews

Um, well I’m really bad with computers. I got this one about 4 years ago, maybe 5. Its a Toshiba Windows Vista Home Basic laptop. I don’t know why but it is beyond slow. I have to use it mainly in safe mode because it is so slow. When the internet does work on it(not often) This box pops up. It has a pic of a dead guy in a scarf( or something like that) and it says random stuff. Sometimes it says PAGE HAS BECOME UNRESPONSIVE! KILL PAGE? and then you can either kill the page or wait. Is that normal? It just started doing that. I don’t have any antispyware stuff. I used to but it stopped working. It was called webroot. The only things I have done are defragment the hard drive, deleted all the unnessacary stuff, and updated everything I could. Still it is super duper slow! Is there anything else I could do to make it go faster? And I’m a novice with this type of stuff so please don’t make your answer too techy.

A large plot of land that grows bamboo and has streams and trees that pretty much recreates its natural habitat, what sort of paperwork would I need, any experts out there? I’ll even have a female so they can breed but it does not feel like it’s in captivity. Also I’ll release the cubs into the wild in China once they reach maturity. With all that considered, anyone have any answers? 5 stars for the experts

Every now and then, I’ll be doing whatever I’m doing on my computer such as a game or Facebook or schoolwork and then all of a sudden my computer will freeze. First it will be Firefox or whatever program I am on that doesn’t respond but the computer itself will not respond – the task-bar at the bottom of the screen doesn’t respond, then when i press ctrl alt delete, it doesn’t work and goes to a black screen and then something comes up that says that ctrl alt delete does not work at this time, or something to that extent..I don’t know what it is, I have looked up many things but I am not sure what it could be.
I got this computer as a graduation gift in June 2010, so it is not old at all.

64-bit operating system (Windows 7)
Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
1 TB Hard Drive
This is why I don’t believe it is the performance of the computer..but I can’t understand what it could be. Some sites say that it could be the registry but I have a program for that already and have used it – i have ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor – and it still happens.
Also I don’t think it is a virus as I have scanned my computer fully with my trend micro antivirus, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Any ideas as to waht the problem could be? I don’t believe the computer came with a windows 7 disc so if it comes down to me having to reinstall the operating system, how would I go about doing that?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m in my late 30s. I started going to a holistic psychotherapist 7 months ago. I know this is not a very long time. I orginally went to get help with something different. I was not planning on staying in therapy for 7 months. But now I’ve opened up about my sexual abuse as a kid. I trust my therapist. I always share how I’m feeling about our relationship. I’m not working and I have way too much time on my hands. (I’ve had about 9 interviews in 2011 and I finally got a part-time seasonal job in the end of 2011 – but it was a contract job and the contract ended a week ago – and it was working ONLY 2 hours a week). I think if I had a full-time job again (or working at least 32 hours a week) I’d be able to move on and heal a little more quicker. But – I’m not sure if healing “quickly” is the answer to my pain.
I’ve NEVER felt so emotionally dependent on anyone. But I’ve also never opened up on an emotional level and discussed so much about my sexual abuse. I feel like I can’t go on with my life without her in it! The transference between me and my therapist is real. I recognize it often and I know what it is. I’m also doing inner child work and I do a lot of Gestalt therapy on my own. I see her once a week (32 sessions so far).
What I’d like to know is how long does it take to heal? I’ve changed a lot since I started. The way I look at life has changed, but I’m in so much pain. I’ve read much on psychotherapy and I know that it is common for a patient to think of his/her therapist all the time. (I’ve already read “The Gift of Therapy” by Irvin Yalom. Great book). The patient only has one therapist, the therapist has many patients.
If I get this job (I just had an interview) I will not be able to see my therapist anymore. I don’t want to see another therapist since I already opened up to her and I trust her. Will I be able to heal on my own if I do get this job? If I do continue to go, will I be in therapy for 2 or 3 more years?

Hi, I was doing this homework problem dealing with Thevenin and Nortons and was wondering if someone could look over and see if it’s good. If not, could you point out what I did wrong and were?
I’m supposed to find the Thevenin and Norton equivalent of the circuit

To be honest here, I was a little lost. I tried to redraw the ckt into something more bearable for me and that’s what I came up with. I put the 2 resistors in series because they looked like they only shared one node before they went in parallel with another.
Then I tried to find the VOC and attempted to answer the problem.

Avast Internet Security 6.0 is better than Avira Internet Security 2012, but Avira is improving.

It has been asking me to remove all of my anti virus software. Why? It is a anti virus software itself but now im starting to think it wants to just screw my comp up and i would have no way to remove the viruses please help.

if you went back in time to England in 994AD and then to 1103AD, what differences would you notice in terms of culture, governance, law and such?

it show that I have a 32 something I couldn’t read because is to fast and later turn the pc off “virus ” it said low ram or something like that ,well I read one answer here about that virus ,and it said that I have to format the pc to get rid off that virus ,how do I do that ,I have the McAfee on my pc ,do I lose this program if I do the format ? It is a laptop Dell inspiron 1525,when I run the MCAfee antivirus in the safe mode the Pc turn off after a while ,what is the best way to get rid off that virus

Okay first I scanned with Microsoft Security essentials it found nothing. then Malwarebytes paid version it found nothing. Then I totally recovered my PC to the original state not “Restore” but an actual recovery then i used NORTON internet security Paid and bought. and scanned my PC Found nothing. Is there any chance my system is infected. my Pc doesn’t have any of the classic Symptoms llike popups and the like. but I ordered a couple of things off of walmart.com and Now I’m paranoid only nice answers please.
