Why Does Mcafee Anti-virus Suck So Bad (and Here I Thought Norton Was The Worst)?
As Bri states, too much interference and resource hogging by running in the background. On my one laptop running Windows Vista (my other computers either run Ubuntu or Linux Mint) I’ve uninstalled both McAfee and Norton (came with 30 days free trials!) and use Avast and SpyBot, though I do use Windows Firewall.
