It keeps telling me to update, but whenever I try to, it stops about 20 % through and tells me to update again! It says my computer security is at risk, and I can’t fix the problem. It’s Kaspersky Anti Virus 2009 by the way,

Nope. Firewall and anti virus wont conflict with each other. If you can’t update ur AV, then u must allow connection in firewall setting for ur AV.
