A Web Site I Go To That Has Malware?

By antivirus software Posted in: KasperSky

A web site I go to has malware .It is legit web site it is a science message board the web site has adds there .In the past 2 months there has been 3 malware through the adds .The owner of the site is trying to fix this problem from happening again.
My question here is how can malware come through the adds and luchy Kaspersky blocked it.Why did IE 8 not block it but Kaspersky block it .
How can these malware and pop ups just pop up in HTML code.

Malware can come through adds usually from flash and JavaScript within the page. flash and JavaScript and flash can host embedded content from interactive games to videos and malware. and internet explorer does not have a virus blocker and that is why it didn’t detect it. and again its just what embedded content is in the JavaScript or flash that can cause problem… hope that helped ~ dakota

Great hackers do crazy things. They make the code run once it loads. Only way to stop it is to not open the page it till it’s fixed.

IE8 is a web browser, not an anti-malware program, so it’s not going to stop malware.
