I have a MacBook Pro (Model #: MD322LL2FA) that will be my primary computer while I work on my bachelor’s degree. This computer dual-boots both OS X Lion and Windows 7 Ultimate.
Questions:
What could I use as a good antispyware program and antivirus program?
Do I need to put them on both OS’s? I know already that Trend Micro works well on Windows, but is not compatible with OS X Lion (for example).
If I have 2 of each type of program installed (one on each OS), will there be compatibility issues or “more than one of this type of program is installed” issues?
I am very familiar with Windows, but don’t know much about OS X Lion (I use Windows on a daily basis and have only used OS X on a very limited basis).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your best bet is getting trend micro 2012 full addition that includes the safe search for OSX as a bundle, however the OSX doesn’t have a virus like scanning program available…I did use nod32′s virus software for my mbp and it definatly slowed it down.
You should be good on OSX as long as you encrypt the hard drive
from what i know macs dont need that software as most “spyware/virus” are made for windows
but you can get Macdrive to get you mac osx drives show on windows so u can scan them on windows
