Mcafee renewal download removed My Documents and replaced it with a vault system. I try to open the My Documents in the My Computer section and it says I need administrative permission. I am the administrator. Why does a so called Security software basically steal your computer files?

I have downloaded and bought avast antivirus. It works with internet explorer, but I cannot detect it on my Firefox. How do I put it on both?
