Belly Button Piercing Infected?

By antivirus software Posted in: Quick Heal

I got my belly button pierced about a month and a half ago with a stainless steel horseshoe ring it was healing fine untill someone pulled on it and ripped it a littleand it got infected from that but that went away quick because I went to the dr right away and got antibiotics. But now about 2 weeks after that cleared the bottom hole looks fine (it didn’t get ripped) but the top has a sort of inflamed bit of skin on the area that got ripped and is sore and red it doesn’t have any pus at all and I was wondering if this would be normal, an infection or allergy to the metal because I know I can’t wear 316L stainless steel in my ears it has to be 14k gold

I got my belly button pierced in August and I accidentally pulled the top in my sleep and it tore.
Since then it doesn’t sting or hurt as much, but the inflammation is only jug beginning to fade.
It’s just the way your body is dealing with the trauma of having a piercing, it happens.
Make sure to keep it clean using salt water or an antiseptic product, and avoid touching it as that will increase your risk of infection and tearing around the bar more.
Also avoid wearing high waisted trousers, because I know from experience that when they fall they sometimes bring the top of your bar with them.

use sea salt and the hottest water that you can stand without burning and do that for about 4 times a day. Do not Touch it without clean hands and be for you Touch it wash hands with antibacterial soap. Many times the body can reject the piercing and/or you can have problems with it getting aerated for years but just be pacent and keep it clean.

Buy sea salt spray, it works wonders. Just spray it on the infected area and it goes away. I had to do that with my nose piercing.
