Can Freshman Okahoma University Students Live In Apartments?

By antivirus software Posted in: NORMAN

I will most likely be attending The University of Oklahoma at Norman next year and I was wondering if they allowed freshman to stay in apartments. I know most colleges require freshmen to be in on campus housing, are there any campus apartments? Also I am currently concurrently enrolled in high school and a local accredited college. By the time i graduate high school I will have 12 hours. Am I still considered a freshman in college?

You will still be considered a freshman with only 12 semester hours. You will also probably be required to live in a dorm. Universities can make exceptions if you have family near campus or medical reasons, etc. Living in the dorm is a good thing though. I loved living in the dorm because it was a great way to meet people. There were always people nearby that I could study with or get study help from. The dorm also had lots of social activities in large areas downstairs. The food was great too. I saved a lot of money by eating at the dorms dining center. You will probably love the dorm once you get there!

Yes you are still an incoming freshman.
just call up housing (or residential life) office and ask. I doubt it. Campus apartments are usually for married couples or Grad students
