i run microsoft security essentials on windows 7 laptop. a pic folder appeared in my pictures i don’t know how it got there.have i been hacked

Yes, in fact its very reccomended. However, do not run MBAM pro and MSE at the same time. Conflicting Antiviruses can cause blue screens, extreme slowdowns of your computer, very aweful webpage loading delays, occasional internet inaccessibility , itchyness swelling and death.

Which antivirus program is better? Microsoft Security Essentials, or Norton 360? I’m trying to decide if i should keep the Microsoft Security Essentials or uninstall it and install the Norton 360 antivirus program a friend bought.
