i can suggest u one thing
memorize pictures of objects related to those word and keep on having some relation between these objects till the end this will help u memorize.
The learning of words becomes very easy if you understand what a word is and how it is formed, i.e. the history of word. So if you understand the evolution of a word, then you get to know at least 10-15 words which would be closely associated.
Now since you know the evolution of the word your chances of forgetting is less. I have done this 4-5 years back and still I remember those words and many a times I understand the related words also which I have never read, just because I know its history of evolution.
