Okay so I bought Norton Anti-virus 2010 for my HP SlimLine with Vista. I’ve had it for 4-5 months. Now I have already ordered the parts to build my first budget gaming PC, and I want to use the same Anit-Virus software. In order to save a few bucks, I’m just re-using my 320GB HDD out of my HP in my new build, only I am going to completely wipe it. Is there a way to install Norton with the same disk on my new PC with my same account and subscription? If not, please state why, thanks!

You should be able to re-install by using the same disc with the same username etc. I have done this before and it works.
