How To Disable Windows Firewall So I Can Use My Antivirus Firewall?

So, my windows firewall is on, but I want my avast internet security to be my main firewall. Normally when people change antivirus, the firewall of the antivirus is automatically changed to the main one isn’t it? When I disable the windows firewall, it doesn’t say that the firewall now is the one from avast. My avast firewall is on.

    Windows7
    Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Security, and then clicking Windows Firewall.
    Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    Click Off (not recommended), and then click OK.
    Windows xp
    Click Start, click Run, type Firewall.cpl, and then click OK.
    On the General tab, click Off (not recommended).
    Click OK.
