   Sounds like a virus and you need to get rid of it. Webroot has a support group that can help you figure out if it is a worm, virus or, trojan. Call them or email them and they will help you.
   Someone on Yahoo suggested before to hit control alt, delete all at once and this will show you want is running and you can end that task to help speed up the computer. I did this and found my kodak easy share was a hidden worm and got rid of it. Now my puter is fast.

   Go into task manager/processes and see what is running. Check each one out and see what can be disable. You can use msconfig to disable several programs on start up or try Codestuff Starter or WinPatrol. This will give you better control. Several programs I can think of that do not need to start at startup: Quicktime, anything dealing with Adobe, any updater (java, itunes, etc)

   Background programs
