I Really Need Help!! I Cant Get Google To Show All Other Sites Work Fine?

Whenever I get onto google.com I get an error page that says The server at www.google.com is taking too long to respond. Now ive searched and searched for a solution and none seems to work.I can get into my gmail and youtube but I cant use the main site.Ive also put in googles ipadress and that worked but it wouldnt load the page when I tried to search for something.Ive even tried google.ca and .couk just to see if they work and they do!But google.com just doesnt.Ive also tried pinging www.google.com on the cmd prompt but it keeps saying timed out. Also ive unistalled my firewall(norton),reinstalled it, and cleared my internet cache/history and it still wont let me on Google.com! Oh and I have a cable modem which ive reset twice just to see if it was that and it was still the same!
