Is It Possible To Get Refund For Antivirus That You Purchased Yesterday?

I was using microsoft security essentials and there was an error which kept saying, “windows explorer not responding”. That error made it impossible to use computer. So I subscribed to ashampoo anti-malware for 40 dollars an year. Ashampoo antimalware uses ikarus engine and emsisoft a-squared engine combined. When I did the ashampoo scan it took 11 hours to scan whole computer, and it found several viruses — trojan dropper win 32 injector, win32bot, fraud.scan.kernel32 and various other infections. After the scan when I clicked on “clean” to clear the infections, I got message. “cannot be disinfected, cleaned, or deleted”. So I chose the “quarantine” option and it said, “cannot be quarantined”. Failing to remove these viruses, I want refund from ashampoo. It has good detection but very poor cleaning and removal of malware and very slow scan speed. Can I get my money back? I emailed ashampoo but I got no reply. Why not? I am frustrated because these stubborn infections have infested so deep into the OS, that removal is impossible. They have planted themselves deep inside the registry and win32 folder. Now I don’t know which AV to use. These are very tough infections to remove, when I searched about them on google.

    You should read the refund policy on the website you purchased your AV software from. You have to abide by that policy regardless of whether you read it when you bought the program, since you probably checked a box somewhere saying that you agree to their terms.

    as far as the virus if it just happened you can probably undo it with system restore as far as security i use McAfee with McAfee site adviser running a full scan with windows defender an updated version of malwarebytes and your security should do it and as far as porn goes ive downloaded from just about every site using firefox addon ant video downloader never had a problem use klite mega media codec pack

    usually, you CAN get a refund within like a week or so, but some places won’t allow the item to get a refund
