Sorry, this is a long read but I need to be detailed in case somebody can help me.
I have had trouble with viruses in the past, some worse than others. The latest one corrupted my registry keys and I haven’t been able to fix them (any programme which identifies the problems wants me to buy their full version, which I cannot do at the moment)
Internet Explorer became unusable because I had to choose a file or something to open it with (but had stupid options like Paint or Notepad to open it with)
I gave up on it and am now using Firefox.
Everytime I start, I get a RUNDLL error.
I’m unable to turn on Automatic Updates (I even did it through the control panel and I mades sure it was on automatic. but everytime I click OK, it remains off, despite it saying its ON in the control panel
This time, I have Avast! Free as my active web shield
Malwarebytes
SuperAntiSpyware
iObit 360 security
Kaspersky virus scan
Spybot
This may seem excessive, but they are only for scanning purposes as some may find something the other missed.
I have scanned fully with all and none show any viruses.
Spybot found a firewall override and it deleted two but I scanned again and it found another one.
I’ve upgraded to Malwarebytes FULL MEMBERSHIP for a limited time and it’s constantly giving me messages like this:
Successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious site:
58.218.199.147
Is a common and another one that begins with 221.
I’ve found out they’re Chinese IP addresses and are notorious for trying to hack many people. I get this even when I’m not surfing. I didn’t even know about this until I upgraded Malwarebytes and now its every few minutes.
Apparenly they’re trying to scan ports for vulnerabilities. I used a websites to scan my ports and it found no security threats in the ports, however Kaspersky has found vulnerabilities (but no viruses) everytime I scan, about 5 or 6.
I tried to renew my IP address but it won’t let me. The Comand Prompt ipconfig/renew says that something is wrong with my DHCP.
MY QUESTIONS:
How can I fix my registery?
How can I change my IP address?
How can i stop these people from trying to access my computer.
Thanks a massive amount for assisting me.

OK OK, I hope I cover all i want to say
A) More than one AV (not AV + Malware scanner) can be just as bad as viruses
B) (along with a prior poster) … Restore points can help you get back into Windows (maybe) to get rid of the infection, or backup (again… maybe) before a reformat … but IT ALONE will never remove an infection … you will just be restoring your PC to an earlier point that you were still infected. HAVING SAID THAT .. restoring then scanning …etc etc can be useful… I never say “NEVER restore …. just know that unlike what some on here say … it WILL NOT remove the infection
C) You have what I would suggest (program wise) … just too many of them … Spybot is not bad …. (“REMOVE IT NOW… IT SUCKS” … nono…. just it is not that good of a scanner anymore) … SAS and Malwarebytes (FREE editions for both) are the two best malware scanners.. you don’t need the pro versions of either, but if you are going to pay for a malware scanner… those would be the only two (pro versions of those free apps) I’d suggest
I am giving Kapsersky another chance on my other PC but I’d advice go with Kaspersky or Avast … NOT both (Avast cause its free would be my first thought… but you pick which one you rather have)
D) Install a Firewall –
The two that I would recommend 100% are very easy to configure and use, and which are both free
Comodo’s Firewall ( http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/ ) OR Outpost ( http://www.agnitum.com/products/outpost/ )
(ONLY USE ONE..)
E) There may be a “never notify me again” for those Malwarebytes prompts … most programs I use have a way to disable constant notifications, THOUGH i use Malwarebyte’s free program, so I do not know for sure.. .i am sure it does.
Port scanning is constant on the net .. even if your not infected… I see scan attempts all the time … its IF THEY CAN GET IN your PC that counts, if you ask me.
Hope I could help. Good Luck

You can prevent people from accesing ur comp, by turning on windows firewall. or the antivirus firewall if it has one
Doing a system restore will not get rid of a virus. Noobs need to stop telling people that. Your restore points are infected too. They are the first place a virus heads. You sound like you don’t have a fire wall running. Get a fire wall if you don’t. When It gets this bad usually the best thing to do is reformat. Reload windows. Get all your updates and patches from microsoft update and get a antivirus that works. You are on the right track with Kaspersky. Your computer is under attack. Most attacks come from either China or Russia. It starts just the time you sign on and keeps going till you get off the internet.
Reload your operating system. Get a better AV. Free doesn’t cut it anymore. But millions of people are suckered in by them everyday.
