Yesterday i was browsing through my pictures on my computer, and so I clicked on one, and all of a sudden it started duplicating that picture like 10x. It seems to do that also when I click on Firefox or even calculator. I ran Microsoft Security Essentials, but it didn’t find any viruses. any thoughts?

Hmm. Just run a system restore to before the problem started. In XP you can find it at Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
