Opinion & Suggestion Based. Need Lots Of Answers Please! Av & Firewall?

I am currently using Microsoft Security Essentials for my AV protection. I also have a copy of Avast! AV Pro. Which AV program should I use, which is better in your opinion and if you could tell me why.?
Also, I use Comodo free Firewall, Is this the best free firewall?
I am running Win7 x64

    Avast is much better, especially if you have the Pro version, because it has the best virus detection rates combined with good start-up speeds.
    Comodo Firewall seems adequate to me – I would stick with it.

    It depends on what you wanna spend. As far as freeware goes, AVG and Norton are good software, as are Trend Micro and the new Vipre. Between AVG and Norton, I’d go Norton all the way. Larger support staff, and better service. McAfee is good as well, but it has a tendency to slow computers down considerably.
    As far as firewalls go, you should be just fine with Comodo. Most freeware firewalls that resemble Comodo are six of one, half dozen of another.

    Avast is the better of the two, but they are both pretty good. As for comodo, that is possibly the best firewall ever invented lol.

    Keep Avast or MSE and Comodo…..you can’t have both of the AV products on your computer……
    Both Avast and MSE are rated pretty high and are both good products
