My Kaspersky Internet Security Program just said its corrupted and i restarted my pc but didn’t fix the problem can someone please help me!!!!!

Should I remove norton from the add and remove section or the software removal before installing Kaspersky. I understand Kaspersky is better than Norton because it does not slow your machine up so much

Or If I uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky (2011) do I have to pay for it again? I would appreciate more then 1 awnser so please people help if you can.
