earlier i think my mom got a bunch of viruses…if i do system restore can that get rid of them or what antivirus should i use..currently doing a mcafee and avast scan..ik mcafee is horrible. whenever i try to do the ‘recovery’/system restore nothing else pops up?

I use MSE as a good/free antivirus program. But with windows 7 high security, by default it has Windows defender which is basically the same thing. So do I need MSE or will I be okay without it?
