okay..so i posted a similar Q a couple of days ago and i got ans so here i am postin the Q again.my kaspersky original anti-virus detected some torojans on my computer..BUT I CANNOT delete them neither neutralize them nor disinfect them.so i installed malware bytes and hitman then scanned my computer i got about 30 infected objects..so i quarantined all the virus locations (all tht in safe mode) then wen i restarted nth changed.ma kaspersky keeps notifyin me wid da same msgs i repeated the whole process again and again but nth is workin..PLZ HELP NB:i have windows 7 installed on my computer.here r some pix which might help: http://twitpic.com/3wumar

Doesn’t kaspersky quarantine viruses that it detects? Is it because you are using the trial version?

I havent tried this yet as I just format my hd and start over, yeah im that lazy/insane. However you may need to get a bootable disc and run a virus scanner off of that if you can’t do anything when you start windows. I am currently busy and ca’t post much more then this about it but look up anti virus freeware boot disc and see if you are able to get an antivirus scanner that runs off of a cd
Just a quick question: If Kaspersky is “the best”, why are you having so many problems? Obviously, if you can’t properly operate your antivirus software, it’s of no use to you. Uninstall it and get Avast. Avast is simple to use, it automatically updates and it’s free. Do a full system scan. You’ll be fine.
