What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Registering For Free Avast Antivirus?

   Avast is a wonderful antivirus. It does not slow down your computer nor does it spam it with ads or pop ups. In fact, it is always upgrading its database several times a day. It is free (obviously) and even offers more service if you are willing to pay for it.

   Advantage: You get to use the free version for 1 year. Otherwise it will only be good for 1 month.
   Disadvantage: None. They don’t even nag nor spam you with newsletters unlike Avira and AVG.
   The reason they ask you to register is just to know how many people are using their product.

3. Simply RED Says

   Advantages – it’s a full fledged antivirus program . And you only register every year. Its fantastic and there’s options like gaming mode .
   Disadvantage – none!! Unless being free is a disadvantage
