What Is Microsoft Security Essential For? Is It An Antivirus Free Edition?

   Microsoft Security Essentials is a “Antivirus” and a “Antimalware” software which replaces Windows Defender(NO Longer Needed) It can be updated through Window’s update’s or manually through the MSE program
   The first scan that MSE does usually takes a little while to complete(Rare, but have seen 6 1/2 hrs on a initial scan)
   Normally ANY antivirus software must be uninstalled(To avoid conflict) See List for uninstalling

   Microsoft Security Essentials is possibly the best anti virus software out. It should be free, I haven’t been prompted about credit cards or anything. I’m not sure what is causing your problem, but if you’re using a pirated edition of Windows, maybe MSE has removed a key component.

   Microsoft security essential is and award wining software design for secuirty that help you anti hack and anti virus/protect your system32..but i think its a quite long time to scaning drives..;)if you have any other anti virus which is updated then no need to install Microsoft security essential

   It is a free anti virus program that I have on my computer. I used Avast free for a while but I prefer MSE.
