My husband and I are moving to Norman soon, and we are looking around for a phone plan now because his contract is almost up. So what services work in Norman without roaming? Also, if it could work most of the way from Norman back to Tulsa that would be much preferred, as I don’t want to risk breaking down without a phone. Definetly not cricket, I know that! Had it and it was horrible for me, everywhere in Tulsa and surrounding areas I roamed. And sprint, I had a lot of problems with it roaming though I had unlimited roam on it. That is no longer an option due to the price. I am looking for something under 150 a month for 2 people with unlimited everything and that works in norman and okc, any advise?

T-Mobile gets excellent service all throughout Oklahoma, including Norman and Tulsa. $140 gets you unlimited EVERYTHING and they have by far the best selection of phones out there.
Go to each carriers website and look at their coverage map. Additionally, you can look at the rate plans as well (be sure to figure taxes).
Almost every carrier works in Oklahoma. Go for AT&T then. AT&T in Oklahoma isn’t bad. AT&T has the best selection of phones, with T-Mobile being the worst.
