Okay so I have A LOT of serious viruses and I’m accessing the internet in safe mode at the moment. I keep having error messages preventing me from using any of my programs. Which includes my Super Anti Spyware and Malware Bytes. I’ve always relied on these programs because they not only scan but they also remove all the infections on my computer. I’ve searched high and low and can’t find any virus removal programs that will remove my viruses for free other than the ones I have that the virus won’t let me access. I really don’t want to re install my computer because I would lose everything. Please give me some software programs that will scan and REMOVE all the trojans, rootkits, malware, adware, and parasites that I have hidden in my computer. Here is a list of all the programs I’ve tried and haven’t gotten rid of the viruses/wouldn’t work because the virus wouldn’t let me
.
-Super Anti Spyware
-Malware Bytes
-RegistryBooster
-BitDefender Free Edition
-Spyware Doctor
-RootkitRevealer
-ThreatFire
-Avira Anti Virus
-Spybot Search and Destroy
-Smitfraudfix
-Nortan Anti Virus

Some tips on maybe getting some of that anti-malware to work.
1. Run it in Safe Mode With Networking. Sometimes that keeps malware from protecting itself.
2. Change its name so the malware might not recognize it and block or kill it. Instead of mbam.exe for malwarebytes, change the name to mylittlechickadee.exe or something else ending in .exe.
Good luck
BitDefender Free Edition
or malware byte
Is it windows 7 ??
bitdefender should have removed the rootkit
you should be able to make a iso for service pack updates and install them in safe mode and it will have latest work arounds for your av program to use
Get gmer, it’s a very powerful rootkit remover. Make sure you read the instructions at the web site. Be sure of everything you delete. A mistake with gmer could make your computer unbootable.http://www.gmer.net/
Spyware Doctor after downloading its updates!
use HITMAN PRO will catch a lot of stuff others missed its a 30 day trial its very good get at cnet.com
you have a few choices, but the one that is leaps and bounds of all others is “unhackme”
it has saved my as$ in the field so many times.
unhackme is commercial but dont *sigh* yet as it is %100 fully fuctional for 30 days and you will need it for 30mins. think it was originally from the good people at MIT.
install it run it it will check for trojans and 20secs later it will most likely find nothing.
but not much will…rootkits are awesome.
next it will ask you to check startup programs(recommended)
*it compares program start ups from the raw registry hive against programs that actually starts up and deduces the naughty ones*
you will find it, something like “sfhksjfshf.sys” kill it and test again, as more than likely you have only found its offspring. because the real rootkit will be spawning these processes, so you need to catch the root kit in the act.
do this and all will be well…
may fave rootkit was called “catchmeifyoucan” I love rootkits, they separate the techs from the scanners.
Good Luck!
