Where Would You Adopt A Panda That Can Live In Your House, If You Can?

Just wondering. xD
1- Is it legal? / Is it legal in Illinois?
2- Websites?
3- Same goes for a tiger and a monkey :D
Like I said, Just wondering. I dont want any answers that are like Ohh yur stupid for even thinking about it. Or Did I hear about the monkey disfiguring that lady’s face?

  1. Sosumi Says

Even if it was legal to own a giant panda, you would have to get permission from the Chinese government. All pandas outside of China are leased from the government and they don’t give them out to random American girls. As to tigers your state says
“Sec. 1. No person shall have a right of property in, keep, harbor, care for, act as custodian of or maintain in his possession any dangerous animal except at a properly maintained zoological park, federally licensed exhibit, circus, scientific or educational institution, research laboratory, veterinary hospital, hound running area, or animal refuge in an escape-proof enclosure.”
And tigers are deemed a ‘dangerous animal’ by Illinoishttp://www.lakecountyil.gov/Health/resou…
Your state also banned the ownership of chimps monkeys and gorillas this year. So you are SOL. Why would you want any of these wild animals as pets anyways? I’ve worked at a wildlife way station that had to take care of these types of animals when people like you were done with your exotic. They’re cute when itty bitty, but these animals are not domesticated. They are predators and in the case of the tiger they are apex predators in their native environment. Stick with a kitten.
