Why Can’t I Update My Avatar?

I haven’t been able to update my avatar since October. When I look at the avatars homepage, I can’t see my avatar in the preview window (and even if I try to change the apparel, it doesn’t work.) I can see the avatar in im windows or in comments on Yahoo articles though. I have cleared browsing history, used different computers/networks, used different browsers, and added the avatars website to my list of exceptions on my webroot antivirus. I’ve read through the suggestions on the Avatar help page and questions people have asked at Yahoo Answers. I’ve yet to have one work for me. Does anyone have any ideas or know how to contact Yahoo regarding this matter? (They ignore emails sent to mail help or messenger help.)

    Mine has been a skeleton page since Yahoo changed the pulse to profile. I have Adobe flash, but I updated it anyway and it didn’t help. I’ve done everything I can think of, even posting all over the Suggestion Board. I’ve done everything they suggested and nothing works. I can access my Favorites and delete them, but when I click an option it don’t show in the avatar pane. My avatar doesn’t show there either. I have it on all sites except there. You can try clearing your cache of temp files, history and cookies and see if that helps you. It didn’t me. I hope something works for you.
    I have sent in the problem to Yahoo and never heard back. As of today it still is blank and unusable. You are not the only one besides me, others have the same issue. Yahoo is not addressing this.

    Click “My Activity” at top of page
    Select “Edit My Preferences”
    Click “Update photo or avatar”
    Follow instructions to select your photo/avatar
    Click “Submit” on bottom of original page when done
    To make a carton avatar:http://avatar.yahoo.com
    Make sure your Pulse profile is not hidden.

    Click ‘Up date avatar’.
    Now click ‘Add photo’ or ‘Change Avatar’ to modify your avatar
