Why Do I Hear The Sound Of Someone Logging Onto Yahoo Messenger?

By antivirus software Posted in: Microsoft Security Essentials

I keep hearing the sweeping sound when the messenger notifies you that someone on your contact list has just logged in, but I do not see anyone who has logged in? Why is that? I recently found out that I had been hacked like 3 days ago by checking my recent log in activity and seen that someone had been logging in from Bosnia, Mexico, and Poland from yahoo mobile. I live in Ga so there is no way I could have did it because I have never been to none of those places lol. So, I hurried and changed my password and re-created my log in seal. However, I still notice whenever I log onto yahoo and I receive my Offline messages, there seem to always be some from someone I do not know, who is not apart of my contact list, and the messages seem to be filled with links to click on such ash “Is this your ex?” and then a link appears. I always hit the report all as spam button and I’ve even emailed yahoo about this issue. Nothing seems to be working. PS I have Microsoft security essentials installed as well.

I would strongly recommend, that you install a better anti virus security program, or you may well loose your Operating System.
The above is dead urgent. The e mails you are being sent contain very bad viruses, and your computer hard disk(s) should now be thoroughly checked, as well as the list of programs, and all the strangers eliminated.
In addition to this, some, or all, of your programs may now have copies of the viruses installed in them.
These may have to uninstall, and reinstall from CD ROM discs. (ONLY).
Please do not use a read/write drive/draw to do any re installs.
