Why Do Some Try To Compare Secularism With The Rise Of Nazi Germany When It Seems The Opposite Was True?

If history is a indication, Hitler actually tried to stamp out Atheist and used his Christian belief system to justify extermination jews, jehovah witnesses and Atheist.
-Adolf Hitler, in a speech on 12 April 1922 (Norman H. Baynes, ed. The Speeches of Adolf Hitler, April 1922-August 1939, Vol. 1 of 2, pp. 19-20, Oxford University Press, 1942)
“My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God’s truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice… And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people.http://nobeliefs.com/hitler.htmhttp://atheism.about.com/od/adolfhitlern…

Hitler was indeed a devout Christian, whose hatred for Jews came from his belief that the Jews were responsible for crucifying his imaginary savior…
Those who compare secularism with Nazism apparently know very little about either!

Hitler was a demented man. He was a psychopath with no guilt or remorse. Some people LIE to get others on their side (I mean, look at our politicians).

You have done good research, and I applaud you. But even when racism is illegal there will always be people who would own slaves if they could, even if genocide is illegal there will always be people who would commit genocide if they could. For every horrible crime in history there were people who supported it and if the right combination of ignorance and anger come together some people would commit those crimes again. To be surprised that someone would distort history to support their opinion is to be surprised at something minor, when much worse is coming. I’ll leave you with this quote from Voltaire from about 1752 which as relevant today as it was then:
“Anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”

Hitler’s hatred of the Jews mostly came from his recognition of the fact that without an enemy, there is no reason for the masses to cede Power to the State, and Jews were a handy internal enemy to a State not yet equipped to encounter foreign enemies (notice the DATE on your quote.) Of course, he also blamed Jewish bankers for the otherwise inexplicable loss and punitive surrender in WWI, a war that was never even fought on German soil; Hitler had been a corporal, and was recovering from wounds in a war that he thought they were winning (The Kaiser’s propaganda was apparently pretty effective) so it had to be some kind of betrayal, and he blamed Jews.
Bear in mind also that the anti-Jewish sentiment was not isolated to Germany. It existed in large numbers in other parts of Europe and even in the U.S. as well. This position got him foreign support when he needed it most.
    Everything else was window-dressing.
