   In my personel experience, i would say microsoft security essencial needs to be more updated….
   Kaspersky and bitdefender would slowdown your computer….
   Norton, Avast and AVG are all low class virus cleaners…

   kaspersky might be better, it is a paid one. another is an Eset
   MSE is a free one that has real time protection
   that is needed to stop viruses from doing damage
   some freebies do not have real time protection

   Microsoft security essentials is not that great of an anti-virus. It’s great for a freeware but it doesn’t protect your system all the way from virus attacks. Choose latest version of KesperSky instead of MicroSoft security essentials

   KIS 2011 is a million times better than MSE ,MSE didn;t detect most trojans but KIS did.
