NORMAN malware cleaner,will it Disinfect infected files or delete the files? i am trying to do this for my friends Dad but i am scared that by doing so it will delete his files, His Virus wont let me download AVG or malware anti spyware when i try to download them from cnet etc the Computer shuts down so what I did was download Norman portable and instal it on his comp please someone help.
Will Norman Anti Virus Disinfect The Archives Or Just Delete Them?

If you mean Norton Internet Security or Norton Anti Viru it will remove and or quarantine only the virus’s etc. If the virus’s, spyware or malware has already infected the PC and it files then the files may be corrupt but the software will not remove the files. You should if you can back up all important files before making any system changes and this should be done on a regular schedule even before one has a problem as one never knows when a system will crash or a hard drive might fail.
No it will delete them. Doesn’t take a chance. And it’s called Norton.
Don’t take any chances with Norton. It does to many weird things. Never heard of Norman.
