My mom just bought this laptop yesterday, I don’t know what kind it is, but was working fine until today she tells me she was playing around on it & now there is no wireless connection whatsoever. I have a computer in my room that has internet I just don’t understand why it’s not connecting to the laptop? The laptop says the possible problems could be, network cable, network adapter, wireless settings, DSL or cable motem. Since there is wireless internet I know it can’t be the cable motem problem. Also, Norton is downloaded on it, but is not working, we think that needs to work for the wireless connection to work? Help please, serious inquiries only. Thank you so much, if you have have any other questions message me.

she probably turned off the wifi by accident…if u have hp click start button and search for hp wireless assistant and enable the wifi……..[u can also check the keys f1 f2 f3..ect one of them is suppose to turn it on look 4 a....well i dont no how to describe pic lol] read the manual or sumtin
Since it seems like you don’t know much about computers try to trouble shoot your network adapter if it says it isn’t connected to the internet. If all fails try a system restore pick a date before when it was working and it should work
If you do a system restore it should reverse whatever your mom did, and tell her not to screw around with thing if she don’t know what she’s doing.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windo…
Miscommunication between modem and laptop go to control panel>system restore and tsetse it back before she played with it and now it should work.
Look and see if there is a wifi button somewhere by the F1-F12 keys usually is three curved lines if you cant find that then do a system restore to a few days ago.
